Manage Core Information

Create and maintain important lists of common core information used across all business processes. Creating such lists establishes consistency throughout your enterprise. Icons may be utilized in the lists to act as visual cues to alert staff of the status of  list items. These easy-to-read lists can prompt employees to take necessary actions at a glance. Security features limit access so that core information can only be controlled by key personnel.

Common types of core data building blocks include:

  • Raw materials

  • Products

  • Equipment

  • Plant areas

  • Resources

  • Customers

  • Employees

  • Locations

Manage Core Data Groups

Some of the core data may be used as building blocks to create core data groups such as the following:

  • Recipes

  • Sales Orders

  • Shop Orders

  • Maintenance Logs

As an example, standard recipes are common in certain industries. Recipes are typically based on building blocks such as products, raw materials and equipment.  Use DataNet Enterprise to create and maintain daily process formulas as needed to ensure consistency and accuracy.
