DEMONSTRATION SETUP TUTORIAL GOALS

Set up a DirectLogic PLC and DataWorx PLC Professional to:
- Insert Production Data from PLC VMemory (e.g. Flow, Temperature) into a MSAccess database via DataWorx PLC Professional using a manual contact and a 10 second timed trigger
- Locate a recipe in the MSAccess database based on the RecipeCode in a PLC VMemory location and have DataWorx PLC Professional write recipe information back to PLC VMemory locations, e.g. Sugar and Flour; using a manual contact and 10 second timed trigger
Set up DataNet Enterprise browser page to review and verify the above results
Become familiar with the DataWorx PLC Professional Workflow

Configure Rung for WX command
Prepare PLC Data and Trigger the ladder rung to run the ‘Insert Production Data’ PLC Procedure.
Prepare PLC Data and Trigger the ladder rung to run the ‘Look Up Recipe’ PLC Procedure

In DataWorx PLC Professional Monitor:

Each time the ladder is triggered, confirm that ‘OK’ Status shows along with the expected Date/Time stamp.

One common issue that prevents DataWorx PLC from receiving data is that the 8th dipswitch on the ECOM module is not turned on.
